I had a very weird day last Saturday all day. Pat and I went to Rockville to meet friends at 12pm, but our car broke down. We wanted to save some time to go to someone's house to borrow his car, so we took a cab from our parking garage to North East, where the car is, but the cab driver drove 40 minutes in the city sending us to a completely wrong place. We picked the car and drove on the way, but realized it was the graduation and Mother's Day weekend, everyone and their mamas were in town, the traffic couldn't be worse.
When we fianlly saw our friends in a nice Chinese restaurant in Rockville, it was 2pm. We were two hours late.
After the meal, we went to shop for this Abstractionism window. We drove to Target to buy yarn, but Target doesn't carry yarn. We went to IKEA to buy wall fabric. I needed 7 yards, but the one I wanted only had 6 yards left in IKEA's stock. So it took me another while to pick another one. Thank God it looks good in the end.
